Legend of zelda monopoly rules4/28/2024 ![]() ![]() After one round and that players next go (not including doubles), the buildings are considered built and placed upright. The building is laid on its side on the property. Another option is properties are randomly placed face down around the board. Also you could put high rent properties on statistically landed squares. This kind of takes away that a player can own a whole side of the board. Squares are purchased, and then properties are purchased and added to any of that owners previous purchased squares. If there is a mathematician out there that could help me, much appreciated. Other property the players own and what is still available to purchase on the board.Amount $$$ each player has before and after the trade. If either player already has a monopoly set.I think the formula should take into consideration (but not milited to): Not really equal trade.ĭark Blue for Light blue plus cash equal to board cost. But his is more designed for beginner or long time no-play players.Įg: Straight property swap. I know that a trade deal of any dollar amount or property cost can be negotiated. One idea I was playing with was the season on the board and would change when doubles rolled.Ī formula or algorithm (not sure the difference) to work out a fair trade between players. Depending on how many cards there is 50% of them would be low season (based on current title deed rents), 30 % mid-season and 20% peak season. This idea (which am looking at) could cross over to building houses cost and board purchase price (peak season $$$$ big bucks to purchase. A struggling player can pay comfortably in low season, saving cash until peak season comes. Match up what rent is due with the season, and that is what the player has to pay. The owner checks the season on the face up discard card. The title deed card will have rent amounts for the 3 season for each of the rents (rent, 1 house, 2 house’s….hotel).Įg: A player lands on a property. There are 3 season, Peak Season, Mid-Season and Low Season. On each card has picture representing a season or accommodation holiday period. Similar to the above idea, cards are discarded face up. ![]() This idea refers to rent and title deeds cards. I’m against rules/ideas of just taking property from another player. Some of them are good, but few are very hash against players there played on. eg: Remove all cards from players around the board and place in discard pile. The owner must pay the mortgaged price to remove the card. This property is now mortgaged and no rent is collected. eg: Place a card under any opponent’s property. They are gained by chance when landing on a card square.Įg: Use this card instead of paying rent on 2 or more building rent is required. Similar to a ‘get out of jail card free’, these cards are kept by a player and used at a later time in the game help themselves or hinder another player. *One option is to have separate pile for rule change cards, and the rule could stay longer in play. But depending on what point in the game, a particular rule for a few rounds could make a difference. I have a Monopoly move and player data gathering program I created (another project working on) shows the rule change would be only effect for a few rounds (in 268 dice rolls, card spaces are landed on 38 times). Every time you pass go you receive $100 instead $200. If you roll 3 doubles, nothing happens, keep rolling. If sent to jail, move in reserve to just visiting. If you land on ‘go to jail’ square continue around the board. Roll one dice and move that number of spaces. ![]() Once card is replaced then normal Hasbro rule goes back into effect The rule is in effect from once the card is placed on the discard pile until the card is replaced/covered up by another card. It is only once a Rule Change card is played that the rule changes. Mixed into the card pile (Chance and Chest cards) are Rule Change Cards. There is only one pile of shuffled cards and cards are discarded face up. In my version rules will also keep changing during game play. In the card game FLUX the rules constantly change as you play. Please provide opinions and thoughts on my ideas/house rules below that I’m working on adding to a Monopoly game. Since finding out about Reddit and this group, I thought I would post my ideas for discussion. My local monopoly group are very strict on playing the original Square, 22 property monopoly game with 99% Hasbro/box rules so I cant try out or discuss my ideas. ![]()
